We were invited to the beautiful @hansgrohe showroom in Melbourne with @oakleys_dunedin - and what an inspiring few days it was.

From innovative tapware to seriously thoughtful design details, we learnt so much and left feeling completely energised (and very well looked after 🙌🏼).

Now back home to a busy schedule and some exciting projects ahead - armed with fresh inspiration and beautiful product selections ready to go.

Curves, colour and personality - reflecting our client’s style ✨
Smoky blue tiles, warm timber joinery and brushed brass details set the tone in this ensuite.
The tile wrapped curved wall leading into the shower creates flow and softens the space, while the patterned floor tiles add a touch of character.

Studio table looking good today — layering up materials for a new hospitality space. A little obsessed with the rich tones and textures, with a few quirky elements thrown in to keep things fresh. We love this part of the creative design process where we play with different combos, to see what works best and will suit the overall vision for the project.

This café fit-out was completed last week for some awesome clients.

We’re loving the French-washed walls, herringbone floors, custom joinery and fluted travertine tiles, paired with beautifully crafted, NZ-made lighting pieces.

Such a pleasure working on this new build. Great design, construction and trades teams involved, along with amazing suppliers and fabulous clients.

Some stand out features in this kitchen and living space are the combination of Calacatta Rosato and Rosso Levante stone that paired beautifully with the dark tones of the joinery and pale herringbone timber floors.
Curves were introduced to add some softness to the linear lines of the architecture and are repeated throughout the space on the kitchen island, fire hearth, dining table, occasional chairs and lighting.

The perfect opportunity to use colour and be a little bit playful with the interiors. We paired this gorgeous woodlands wallpaper with custom designed bunkbeds. Storage was incorporated underneath & each bunk has its own set of fun linen, a wall light and bookshelf for evening stories #ttdproject

Finally got back to visit this bathroom in Central Otago completed early this year. I love the large skylight, it throws light over the spacious twin shower + you get to 🚿 with a view 🌲 ⛅️ Bonus.
Simple texture on the walls with vertically laid subway tiles that have a beautiful wavy finish & paired with some statement terrazzo.
Brushed brass tapware throughout, oak for some warmth & a few curves to soften. 💛#ttdproject

A contemporary spin on the design with a porcelain surround, raised hearth and timber shelving has made this family fall back in love with their home.

BTW - If you’re looking to change up your wall colour #Dulux Spanish Olive 1/2 is a refreshing deviation from good old white.

3D renders are so helpful to visualise the end result. These two renders show the difference between using one tundra tile or a tundra + fingers combo and give the client options before they commit.

A few key elements in this small ensuite:
Floating curved timber vanity - adds necessary storage, warmth & makes a small space appear larger
Lighting - feature wall light and LED lights under vanity (with motion sensor) and/or in the shower niche
Custom Mirrors - these don’t necessarily have to match the tapware and can be made in various shapes and sizes

One of the best things about our master ensuite is without a doubt the twin recessed mirror cabinets. No more sharing. Game changer.

One of the best things about our master ensuite is without a doubt the twin recessed mirror cabinets. No more sharing. Game changer.

Pulling together beautiful finishes for projects is a key part of my job and can elevate so many areas in a home to the next level.

This time the client was me, so although picky, I had free rein to unleash my inner minimalist on my master ensuite.

The bathroom features a custom black oak vanity with matching recessed mirror cabinets. The minimal curvy brushed brass tapware was chosen early on in the process as was the stone, both of which were a catalyst for the overall look.

The tiles were kept simple using a mix of large & small square tiles in pale grey & white. They aided in creating a calming, light feel in here along with the large skylight.

I’ve popped a vid’ up on my reels I took a few weeks ago of the recessed cabinet that’s a total game changer when sharing a bathroom. Call me selfish, however not sharing this with anyone else makes me happy every single day 🙌🏻

This print was a 40th gift from some of my gorg friends & husband & I finally got it framed.

It’s been a little while since that particular birthday (let’s just say I haven’t been 40 for a wee while now 😉) however it was well worth the wait to get it up on the wall.
